Manufacturing Operator -Location: Basingstoke RG24 Shifts: Monday to Friday, rotating between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Contract Type: Full-Time Hourly Rate: £15.48
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their high-performing manufacturing team. Working within the Microbiology Division, this role supports the production of Dehydrated Culture Media-critical products used in disease diagnostics and ensuring safety in food and environmental testing.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing Dehydrated Culture Media products. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Always maintain safe and ethical working practices.
- Follow defined processes for batch manufacturing, labelling, and stock updates.
- Participate in daily team meetings and contribute insights.
- Track and report daily goals, engage in performance reviews, and act on feedback.
- Understand and apply team and departmental performance and safety metrics.
- Maintain training records within the company's quality management system.
- Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
Education
- Education: Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, production, lab, or related field. Prior cGMP experience desirable
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.
- Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and basic computer applications (including email)
- Demonstrates Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
