Manufacturing Manager

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £42,000 per annum + Available overtime worth up to £20,000 per annum

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Our client, a global leader in induction heating & melting based in Birmingham, have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager. The successful candidate will have experience dealing with furnaces and manufacturing/repairing inductor coils, with strong leadership qualities. Duties/Responsibilities:

* Overseeing the manufacturing process and repair of copper furnaces/inductor coils
* Assisting sales team with accurate quoting and site visits as required
* Identifying material requirements
* Identifying machining/fabricating requirements
* Identifying tooling requirements
* Ordering non-standard parts and materials
* Liaising with suppliers
* Liaising with customers
* Budget control during progress of all jobs
* Preparing WIP's for invoicing ie; labour, materials etc.
* Ensuring quality standards
* Ensuring safe working practices
* Training personnel
* Booking in jobs/setting sales orders
* General administrative duties

Candidate Requirements:

* Understanding of the manufacturing process or repair of copper furnaces/inductor coils
* Experience supervising others
* Fabrication experience
