Rotational shift AM and Night:
06:30 - 14:45 Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 12:30 Friday & 19.30 till 06:00 Monday - Wednesday 19:30 - 05:00 Thursday
- Setting and operating production machines, equipment, and auxiliary equipment (where trained) to ensure achievement of setting and run targets.
- Performing off-set changes, tooling, and cutting tip changes as necessary.
- Conducting quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment and documenting the results.
- Completing and filing all required paperwork and labels accurately.
- Updating the manufacturing shop floor data collection system as needed.
- Continuously improving the 6 'S standard.
- Executing Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- Identifying and championing continuous improvement activities and opportunities.
- Observing safety protocols and reporting any health and safety risks.
- Collaborating as part of a team.
- Providing training to other operators as necessary.
- Ensuring adherence to the company's quality (IATF16949) requirements.
- Liaising with other departments.
Skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
- Previous experience in CNC setting and operating.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) procedures.
- Familiarity with 6 'S standard and continuous improvement methodologies.
