CNC Turning Setter/ Operator

Shifts:

Morning Shift; Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 18:00-04:30

Permanent
Pay rate up to £20.00 per hour
Coventry CV4

We are looking for a CNC Setter/ operator to join our client based in Coventry CV4 on a permanent contract, on Morning & Night Shift. Our client is a recognized leader in the oil and gas industry, known for its innovation, excellence, and commitment to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling to ensure accurate production.
• Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, etc.).
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC turning operations.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling.
• Familiarity with CNC programming (preferred but not mandatory).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
