• Role: Health and Safety Manager

• Contract Type: Short-term

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM-5 PM (37.5 hours/week)

• Rate: £280/day (PAYE)

• Location: On-site, multi-site logistics operation

Responsibilities

• Lead health & safety across automated, high-volume warehouse operations

• Deliver engaging training and embed proactive safety culture

• Lead compliance audits, investigations, and risk assessments

• Manage internal and external facilities maintenance (reactive and preventive)

• Maintain safe, clean, compliant facilities across multiple sites

• Collaborate with stakeholders and support integration of young talent

• Ensure regulatory compliance during growth and workforce transitions

Qualifying Criteria

• NEBOSH or equivalent certification

• Health & safety experience in logistics/warehouse (ideally automated)

• Proven ability in risk management, audits, and safety training

• Facilities management experience

• Skilled communicator with varied workforce and senior stakeholders

Relevant Equivalent Job Titles

• HSE Manager

• Head of health and Safety
