We are looking to recruit an Assembly and Test Fitter for our client specialises in the repair and manufacture of metal bearings, seals, deflectors, and other rotating equipment, dedicated to providing a superior aftermarket service, optimising the performance of their client's machines.


Assembly and Test Fitter:
The main purpose of this role is work as a team on the shop floor to perform overhauls on
various turbine ancillary equipment, ensuring all repairs are completed on time and to the
highest standards.


Responsibilities:
* Perform repairs and maintenance on gas turbine components, including stationary
repair, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
* Generate detailed initial inspection reports for the engineering team.
* Rebuild and test products/components in accordance with OEM specification and
company procedures.
* Generate detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports.
* Use of specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, hydraulic, flow divider,
drive bench/pump.
* Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry
standards.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training and Experience:
* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related field/experience.
* Good solid hand skills.
* Ability to read technical instructions/drawings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
