This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work for our prestigious client, as we are recruiting for Multi Skilled Die Maintenance at Vauxhall Motors Press Shop (Stellantis) in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, Vauxhall Motors is a well-established car manufacturer in the area and is looking to expand its Stamping Unit

Multi Skilled Die Maintenance responsibilities:
* Performing planned die maintenance tasks
* Reactive die maintenance to quality issues
* Support the production teams during production runs
* Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults
* CIP - apply continuous improvement process


Multi Skilled Die Maintenance required skills:
* Knowledge of Automotive outer sheet metal (Skin panel) Draw dies, line dies and automation equipment
* Skin panel punch repair & surface preparation experience
* Previous experience of new die try out experience & surface quality improvement
* Welding experience Hard & soft facing of trim steels T.I.G - M.I.G
* A sound knowledge of Press Line operation & associated equipment is advantageous
* Fanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageous
* Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageous
* Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A high level of self-motivation and tenacity

Multi Skilled Die Maintenance Pay:
* £14.65ph

Multi Skilled Die Maintenance Shift:
* Weekly rotation - Week 1 Friday and Saturday 18:00-06:00 Week 2 Saturday and Sunday 06:00-18:00
