Gi Group is working in partnership with one of the most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, which has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team.

We are looking for a Self-employed Driver or a Self-employed Owner Driver:

Location: Portsmouth (PO9 2NG)

Rate of pay:

* Short wheel base van: £146.80 per day worked plus 22 pence per mile on route.
* For self-employed driver there is a cost of £222 per week towards the cost of van hire

* Long wheel base van: £164.80 per day worked.
* For self-employed driver there is a cost of £255 per week towards the cost of van hire

* Paid weekly, 2 weeks in arrears

Hours of work:

* Starting between 10.30am and 11.30am
* Working up to 9 hours per day over 5 / 6 days Monday to Sunday and will include at least one day at the weekend

Start Date: As soon as possible

Training: 1-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver. Training rate is £108 per day

Driver Responsibilities include:

* Loading of own vehicle / rental vehicle each morning
* High volume deliveries following 3 week onboarding process
* "Job and knock" - paid day rate
* Adhering to standard work processes at all times.

Driver Requirements:

* A full and valid UK Cat B Driving licence (manual licence)
* A maximum of 6 points on your licence
* A minimum of 2 years driving is essential
* Driving licence must be in current home address.
* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* We're looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
* You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 25kg)
* You must be able to provide various documents for identity checks
