Gi Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in Leamington Spa CV34 Area, which will be responsible for supporting the Operations team to maintain up-time of equipment through effective planned maintenance activities. The role has a requirement for a small amount of facilities management such as repair, refurbishment, and installation, where required.

Pay Rate: £16.00 p/h
Schedule: Monday to Thursday - 07:00AM - 16:00PM. Friday - 07:00 - 12:00 Midday

Main Responsibilities:

- ESSENTIAL:

* Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
* Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
* Well organised and able to prioritise tasks with excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Ensure compliance with IATF16949 preventive and reactive maintenance requirements.
* Contractor control and issuing of work permits.
* Use problem solving knowledge to effectively participate in 8D's and RCPS activities to address unplanned downtime issues and prevent re-occurrence.
* Support installation projects for new equipment.
* Use and suggest improvements for Maximo (CMMS) to manage and enhance various planned maintenance activities.
* Managing and maintaining Inventory.
* Fault finding in hydraulic /pneumatic test rigs & circuits.
* Fault finding in electrical control circuits.

- BENEFICIAL:

* PLC interrogation and fault finding.
* Communicates vision of the organisation via verbal communication and actions. Interprets the strategic plan for purpose of developing goals for self.
* Manages multiple projects and delivers same on a timely basis.

- Requirements:

* Detailed knowledge of hydraulic /pneumatic systems.
* Detailed knowledge Electrical control systems, 3-phase, Motor/pump.
