GI Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver for our world renowned client in LS25.

Job Details: Class 1 Driver

Pay rates:

£17 per hour
£19.05 per hour including advanced holiday pay

Shifts / Start times

Mon - Fri:
1530 start times
Approx 10-12 hour shift length

Main Duties will include:
- Securing loads
- Delivering safely via a given route
- Opening the curtainsider for Forklifts to remove the loads
- Keeping and maintaining regular records and journey details
- work at a safe but efficient pace to get the job done
- Be reliable and consistant

The Candidate:
- No more than 6 penatly points
- Hold an up to date CPC and Tacho card
- Have at least 1 years experience as a Class 1 Driver
- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
