The company is a well-established company based in Leicester. The customer supplies its products to a well-diversified customer base, across multiple industries. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimise the organisations transport operations, ensuring seamless delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with regulations and cost-effectiveness.

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including goods receiving and dispatch, staff management, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The role will also oversee small transport operation (1 driver). This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth production flows and meeting customer delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
* Manage goods receiving, storage, and dispatch processes to maintain an organised and well-functioning warehouse.
* Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock levels accurately.
* Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to optimise supply chain processes.
* Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
* Monitor and improve warehouse layout and storage solutions for maximum efficiency.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
* Work closely with suppliers and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
* Prepare reports on warehouse activities, stock levels, and performance metrics for senior management.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

28 days Holidays with 1 extra day per full year - up-to 5 years = 5 extra days
