We are looking for a Food Production Operative in the Park Royal/Acton area to join our clients growing team, if that is what you're looking for, then we have the job for you!
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (weekend flexibility required) with 30 mins unpaid break
- AM Shift: 07:00am - 3:30pm
- PM Shift: 3:30pm - 11:00pm
Pay Rate:
- £13.15 per hour, increasing to £13.85 per hour after 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing and Preparing Dough: Handle large quantities of ingredients, including bags of flour (up to 25kg).
- Running the Production Line: Tasks include proofing, frying, and finishing doughnuts.
- Maintaining a Clean Work space: Daily cleaning duties, especially at the end of shifts.
- Operating Machinery: Use production line equipment and machinery effectively and safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect ingredients and finished products to ensure high standards are met.
- Following Instructions: Adhere to recipes and production procedures accurately.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the production team.
- Physical Fitness: Be prepared to stand for long periods and meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Flexibility: Availability to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekend shifts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food production or similar roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a fast-paced food production environment, which may be cool or refrigerated depending on the area of work.
