Gi Group are currently recruiting for multiple Class 1 drivers for our world known client based in Luton, LU4 for ongoing contract work with the UK's largest independently owned haulier.

Shifts for Class 1 drivers:

Hour available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we're predominantly looking for Drivers for the following shifts.

* Days (0400-0800 starts)
* Nights (1500-2200 starts)

Pay & Benefits for Class 1 drivers::

- Monday to Friday (0600-1759): £18.65 per hour with advanced holiday pay
- Monday to Friday (1800-0559): £19.78 per hour with advanced holiday pay
- Saturday (All hours): £22.41 per hour with advanced holiday pay
- Sunday (All hours): £23.53 per hour with advanced holiday pay

Main Duties will include:

- Conducting Vehicle checks
- Pallet work (trunking)
- Securing loads

Requirements for Class 1 Drivers:

- No more than 6 penalty points
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- No DD / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills
- Must have at least 12 months experience in a similar role
