GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple Class 1 drivers for our world known client based in Luton, LU4

Shifts for Class 1 drivers:

- Whilst the client operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we're predominantly looking for Drivers for the following shifts.

* Days (0400-0800 starts)
* Nights (1500-2200 starts)
* Average 9-12 hour shift

Pay & Benefits for Class 1 drivers::

- Monday to Friday (0600-1759): £16.65 per hour (£18.65 per hour with advanced holiday pay)
- Monday to Friday (1800-0559): £17.65 per hour (£19.78 per hour with advanced holiday pay)
- Saturday (All hours): £20 per hour (£22.41 per hour with advanced holiday pay)
- Sunday (All hours): £20 per hour (£23.53 per hour with advanced holiday pay)

Main Duties will include:

- Conducting Vehicle checks
- 8-12 deliveries per shift
- Pallet work
- Securing loads
- Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Requirements for Class 1 Drivers:

- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- A presentable appearance and an eye for detail
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- No DD / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills
- Must have at least 6 months experience in a similar role
