At GI Group, we are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers for our client in Lutterworth , LE17. With a focus on reliability and excellence in service, we are currently seeking a dedicated Class 1 Driver's to join us today for long-term work including the possibility of a temp-to-perm.

Overview:

* Delivering pallets mostly to supermarkets.
* Manual hand ball included.
* You must adhere to all road safety regulations and maintain high standards of professionalism.

Shifts and Hours:

* Monday to Friday (weekend work available)
* Start Times: 6:00 am - 10:00 am
* 10-12 h shift

Rates of Pay:

* Monday to Friday - £15.00 per hour
* £ 16.50 overtime rate
* PAYE ONLY

Key Responsibilities:

* Driver must do all pre driving checks
* Goods will need to be checked against a delivery note
* Some goods are high value and particular attention needs to be paid to these when
delivering. This includes not leaving the vehicle open or unattended when delivering.
* You must always remain professional.
* Compliant / safe delivery of our client's products to their customers nationwide
* Any problems must be communicated to the office / managers as and when they
arise.
* You won't be paid for 45 minutes a day for your breaks please take these.
* Demonstrating good customer service always is essential.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Valid Class 1 driving license with relevant certifications.
2. Previous experience for at least 1 years transport essential.
3. Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
