Our Client a prominent employer in the Montrose area is looking to recruit a temporary stores operator, this is an ongoing , temporary to permanent position
The work is of varying levels of physical nature with heavy work, lifting /moving loads of varying weights, requiring a good understanding of manual handling techniques and principles, and involves the handling of process materials.
Pay rate is £15.35 per hour
Dayshift - Monday to Friday - 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities & skills required
- Material Handling and Equipment Operation: Manage the safe receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials. Safely operate forklift trucks and other material-handling equipment. Offload bulk solvent tankers. Sample wet materials. Maintain full compliance with safety and quality standards
- Shipping of Final Products: Coordinate accurate packing and shipping, including Dangerous Goods Notes, adhering to shipping and regulatory standards.
- Dispensary Operations: Dispense and label materials accurately for manufacturing and dispatch, maintaining GMP, safety, and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Use RF devices and M-ERP systems for precise inventory tracking, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records aligned with Data Integrity principles and regulatory standards.
- Physical Tasks and PPE: Perform manual handling tasks while using PPE to ensure safety and contamination prevention.
- Team Collaboration and Initiative: Work effectively with teams and independently to ensure efficient operations.
- Training and Development: Complete supervised training programs and Dangerous Goods courses for compliance and proficiency.
- Shift Flexibility: Adapt to varying shift patterns and support urgent manufacturing needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to problem-solving initiatives to enhance warehouse and dispensary operations
No tasks to be undertaken without supervision until suitably trained
Due to nature of this role, we require an experienced warehouse/stores person.
