Operations Processor - Warehouse
Role Purpose:
The Operations Processor is a hands-on position within the warehouse section of the Service Centre, responsible for managing secure, customs-cleared shipments. You will ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security standards while processing incoming and outgoing parcels efficiently and accurately within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with DHL compliance procedures.
- Scan and distribute materials following Global Operating Procedures.
- Maintain high attention to detail and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Perform manual lifting of shipments as required.
- Adhere to all health, safety, quality, and security standards.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organised at the end of each shift.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure high service delivery levels.
- Report any security concerns to supervisors immediately.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques.
- Strong teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Aviation Security Training and Manual Handling certification are advantageous.
- DBS check will be required- can be arranged by GI Group
