Gi are looking for a class 2 driver in Alwalton Hill,

Pay rate
* £19.22 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)

Class 2 Shift pattern
37 Hours a week, rotating across 7 shifts (4 or 5 day working weeks).
* 2 Shifts (07:30 - 17:15), 1 early Shift (06:15 - 16:00), 3 Shifts (07:30 - 15:30).
* 1 shift is Night Shift standby (17:15-06:15).
* You will also be on call 2/7 weekends (12hr duty periods, call-out only (not working)

Class 2 role
* Completion of Daily Work Schedule
* Full compliance with internal Logistics procedures
* All loads collected/delivered are accurately recorded
* Use of online work systems via tablet
* Flexibility to cover emergencies as required
* Cross training, where required, for ability to operate all forms of MHE used within the business.
* Ability to cover other roles as required (Warehouse staff, MHE operator)
* Working as part of a team with members of other operational teams
* Maximise the loading of vehicles within legal limits
* Compliance with SAFED (safe and fuel-efficient driving)
* Take on periods of 24hr emergency cover (one hour ready to move) to drive materiel or supplies to the point of need.
* Close liaison with client's logistic operations team during incident response

Candidates must have-
* Hiab Training
* Moffatt Training
* Up to date CPC and in date tacho card
* UK Class 2 Driving License (C+E)
* Flexibility regarding working shifts to meet the demands of working in essential industry sector
* Strong player with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in all operational sites
* Ability to work as collaboratively part of a team as well as show initiative when working alone
* Basic IT skills including understanding of basic Microsoft packages (i.e., outlook)
* Ability to embrace change and positively deal with often conflicting priorities
