HGV 1 Driver, Class 1, C+E - Tramping - Minimum 6 Months Experience Required.

Gi Group are currently recruiting Class 1 Tramping Drivers for a client based in Peterborough on an ongoing basis or permanent role. You will be responsible for driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle, following a planned route from the site to customers and other depots, farms delivering and collecting food products. This site does operate 24/7 so it is important that drivers are flexible with start times and days available to work.

DAF Vehicles all under 3 years old with Microwave, Fridge, and 12 V power. Good Sleeper and all facilities on site for showering.

Shift times: Days - Monday to Sunday,- 4 on 4 off, 6 on 3 off, 6 on 1 off 6 on 5 off, 6 on 1 off 6 on 11 off.
Start time: Between 04.00 -07.00 hrs.
Contract Type: Potential Temp to Perm, Full time, Ongoing
Starting: Immediately.

Driver requirements:
- No more than 6 points and no CD, DR, DD, IN, TT.
- We are looking for a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
- You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving licence, a digital tachocard and a valid CPC qualification card
- Upbeat and self-motivated
- Resilience and flexibility
- 6 months work history recent experience with the relevant licence (for insurance purposes)
- Comfortable to doing nights out and tramping.

The Important Details:
*  You will receive the following rate per hour (PAYE):
*  Rate £14.09 per hour - £16.14 after 8 hrs daily up to £18.43 per hour. * Maximise Hours, up to 60 working hours pw
*  Night Out Rate £26.20
*  Temporary with opportunity of a permanent role.
*  On-site parking
