Pay Rate:
Night Shift - £13.20 per hour until 6 am
Day Rates - £10.59 per hour from 6 am


Hours of work: rotation of shifts across 7 days

10:00 pm - 6.30 am
01:00 am - 9:30 am

Flexibility on start and finish times may vary so please take this into consideration before applying.

Want to work for one of the most iconic companies? The most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a warehouse operative to assist with Christmas pressure.


Your Duties Will Include (But Not Exclusive):

* Unloading and loading vans to time slots.
* Manual handling of parcels up to 30kg
* Scanning and checking labels
* Ensuring that parcels are handled safely to prevent damage
* Unwrapping and wrapping pallets
* Checking for any damage or faults in goods

The ideal candidate;

* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* We are looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
* Fast-paced and target oriented environment
* Must be able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
* Flexibility to work overtime when needed
* Experience in a warehouse environment
* Ability to carry out continual heavy lifting
* Knowledge of goods in and goods out scanning systems
* You must be able to provide a disclosure with 4 weeks of employment. A current DBS will be accepted if issued no more than 12 months prior to start date.
* A minimum 1 reference. Ideally this should include either 1 work reference or 1 character reference from a person in a position of trust.
