Our client are seeking a supervisor to lead the Facilities team and undertake the responsibility for the maintenance of land, buildings, services, and all associated legislative requirements including fire inspections.
The role includes the project management of improvement and repair projects as well ensuring the Facility is a safe working place.
Work Schedule : DAY SHIFT
Mon - Thur - 7.45AM - 16.45PM
Fri - 7.45AM - 12.45PM
PAY RELATED TO THE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead, mentor and develop the Facilities Team. Set daily work list, performance expectations and conduct performance reviews
* Ensure facility compliance to Lear directives, site procedures and all statutory inspections to comply with relevant legislations and manage any associated remedial work required
* Resolve any Facility repairs and suggested improvements promptly
* Develop strategic plans for improvement / enhancement projects
* Obtain costs for any facility projects and raise Purchase Orders
* Manage external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedure
* Manage facility service contracts including Security, Cleaning, food & beverage services
* Monitor Service contract's performance
* Plan and implement facility improvements as directed by Lear's Energy Efficiency Playbook
* Monitor energy usage and propose projects to improve efficiency
* Develop and manage a preventative programme
* Support the Facilities Team being involved in quarterly Kaizen / improvement projects
* Support any H&S investigations if needed
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
* Previous FM experience
* Project Management
Contractor Management
QUALIFICATION
Preferred:
* Min Level 3 safety (IOSH Managing Safety)
* Facilities Management Level 3
Required:
* Relevant Degree
