Gi Group are seeking operatives to work for our client based in New Holland (DN19)

Our client has a drive for service and people, setting high standards in the quality of product and the overall operations process, supplying market-leading multi-product solutions including structural timber and bespoke milling services.

Pay rate - £12.81 per hour
Hours of work - 0600-1400hrs / 1400-2200hrs Monday to Friday, regular overtime available
Contract type- temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

** Own transport will be required due to location **

Duties include
* Working under instruction from Machinist/Shift Supervisor
* Assisting in day-to-day operations
* Ticketing and processing orders
* Skidding and stacking of packs
* Daily housekeeping duties
* Operating in-house machinery, including the shrink wrap machine
* General reporting of any maintenance and quality issues
* Carry all work out in-line with to current risk assessment and S.O.P
* Any further duties required.

The successful candidate will have
* Experience within a similar production environment is desirable
* Forklift or counter balance license is desirable
* Basic Numeracy and English Qualifications
* In house machine knowledge provided on the job
