This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as we are seeking to appoint Technical Assistant to collaborate with our Client Pets at Home based in Stafford, ST18.

Technical Assistant responsibilities:

* Respond to tote jams on the conveyor system
* Re-setting of emergency stops
* Use of computerised systems to complete jam reports and to complete maintenance logs
* Highlight all H&S issues to your line management.
* Responsible for cleaning of automation equipment and to help maintain hygiene standards
* Assist to resolve issues without tools but through manual procedures
* Other activities deemed appropriate within the automation environment

Technical Assistant required skills:

* Basic computer literacy
* Good level of communication
* Understanding of safe systems of work
* Experience with tote and conveyor systems
* Experience of planned preventative maintenance programmes
* Experience with MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems and their technical components

Technical Assistant Pay:

* £13.24 per hour

Technical Assistant Shifts available:

* Panama Shifts (Also, known as 2-2-3 shift pattern)
* Working a mixture of AM Shift 06:00-18:00 & Night Shift 18:00-06:00
