Gi Group are looking for experienced Production Manager.

Location: Stockport
Salary: Up to £56k per Annum
Contract: Full time, 40hrs per week on a permanent basis

Candidate will oversea the CNC workshop, Assembly & Finishing departments. This
role involves managing a team of 8 across various departments Setting up and maintaining
production procedures, optimising manufacturing processes and ensuring high product quality.

Key responsibilities include.

Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely product output.
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet demands.
Establish and refine production procedures.
Monitor and refine production and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Proven experience in managing production processes in the engineering sector.
Experience with 5 axis CNC Milling machines, CNC Lathe, Manual Lathe.
Strong leadership and team management skills.

Skills:
Must have CNC knowledge / experience to communicate meaningfully about work holding,
tooling and machining techniques to manage the CNC workshop.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in production planning and quality control.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
Familiarity with EDGECAM ideal but not essential, CAD/CAM familiarity.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. Innovative thinker with the ability to drive process improvements.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
