This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as we are seeking to appoint Catering Assistants to our public sector client based in Nottingham, NG17. The role of the Catering Assistant is to undertake a comprehensive range of general and departmental catering duties to the required service delivery standards.


Catering Assistant responsibilities:

* Delivering outstanding Catering Services by providing a warm welcome environment for patients
* Facilitating Patients Nutrition and hydration needs
* Providing menus, taking orders from patients, and supporting with dietary/allergy
requirements
* Prepare and deliver all refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
* Clearing downward areas and wash up dirty dishes ensuring that kitchen is clean
* Be confident working in a healthcare environment where patients are quite unwell and at times distressed
* To work in conjunction with other departments supporting the wider team as required



Catering Assistant required skills:
* Enthusiastic, dependable, and punctual
* Have excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Must be able to work under pressure
* Has experience in a customer care environment
* Understanding of basic Infection Controls
* Awareness of Health & Safety issues

Catering Assistant Pay:
* £11.44ph days
* £11.94ph nights
* Overtime

Catering Assistant Shift:
* 7:10am - 1:30pm (24 hours per week)
* 2:30pm - 6:30pm (16 hours per week)
* Overtime available for both shift patterns. Working hours include working every other weekend, must be flexible to work any 4 days out of 7
