We are currently looking to recruit Experienced Team Leaders to join us at our client based in Coventry, CV6 4BX, in their Tray Wash Operation.

This role shift pattern is based on a 3 on 3 off basis, hrs 6pm-6am, although additional days may be required dependant on the needs of the business.

£30K-£37K

20 shifts holiday

Potential maximum 8% of basic salary annual bonus

Skills Required:

• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Previous experience managing a team
• Basic understanding of computer packages such as excel & word

Reporting to Production Manager on a day-to-day basis, all aspects of the production will be managed by the successful candidate.

These duties include:

• Maintain hygiene, health and safety across the warehouse
• Effectively manage the team to ensure consistent positive results in terms of cost, efficiency, safety and quality.
• Support the allocation of employee responsibilities at the start and during the shift.
• Maintain shift efficiency and productivity of all machines.
• Monitor performance on an hourly basis.
• Onboard and train new colleagues
• Supporting the booking of agency workers for the next day's shift whilst monitoring the number of employees required according to the budget
• Reporting and escalating any safety concerns

The ideal candidate:

• Will have experience of automation
• Will have previous experience of FMCG
• Team management skills
• Background in food or food related industries
• Used to working with peak times, 24/7 production
• Worked with agencies and temporary labour
• Previous experience in a fast paced environment
• Experience of working with machinery, some engineering knowledge desirable
• Good level of English both spoken and written, understanding
