GI GROUP Telford is currently looking for a Extrusion Production Support Operator to join a well-established packaging manufacturer.

Location: Telford
Pay Rate: £12.35/hour (Days) | £18.53/hour (Nights)
Shifts: Panama shift pattern - 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights every fortnight.


What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting the extrusion process, working alongside experienced operators
* Learning to run and monitor various machinery
* Keeping production lines running smoothly and efficiently
* Assisting with changeovers, quality checks, and general upkeep of the equipment
*Testing products to ensure they meet client expectations
*Packing & Folding raw material
*Monitor material levels and feed the machines
*Unload the rolls off the machine
*Adhering to H&S and 5S procedures
*Wrapping ready products
*Empty scrap bins
*Material checks to ensure the right ingredients are used
*Escalate any issues to the team leader
*Other reasonable duties required by the team leader/supervisor


What We're Looking For:
* Experience in a similar role is ideal (extrusion, manufacturing, machine operation, etc.)
* Willingness to learn and progress within the company
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to follow Instructions
*Problem solving skills
