Summary

• GI Pro have a role for a Press Brake Machinist for our client in Thatcham
• Working a day shift paying between £13.50ph - £22ph (opening this up to a varied experience level of Press Brake machinist)
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Permanent contract

The client - specializes in the structural, power plants and construction industries and supply both UK and international markets.

The role:

• Setting & operating Amada Press Brake Machines (other press machine exp is fine)
• Programming is desirable but not essential
• Manufacturing bespoke products for industries including architectural, construction and commercial metal products
• Lots of variety in day to day with bespoke work
• Mostly working with stainless steel and aluminium
• Quality checking of own work from drawings
• Use of hand and power tools

The candidate:

• You will have Press Brake machining experience.
• The client is happy to upskill you, providing you have some Press Brake experience
• If you are at setter level or more, this is advantageous.

Package

• 27 days holiday including bank holidays
• Day shifts Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1700 Friday 0700 - 1500
• Permanent Role
• Ample overtime available paid at a premium
