We are currently working with our client, who have offices and manufacturing sites and laboratories across the globe, and here in the North West they are hiring for their state of the art Manufacturing site in Warrington.

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work with the Manufacturing teams working across various disciplines to ensure the manufacturing area equipment is properly serviced, maintained and any reactive maintenance done in a manner which decreases downtime, by focusing on a "minimise downtime, increase availability" mindset.

You will ideally have worked in an environment similar to this, so it would be useful if you have experience working in a clean room or even an ultra clean room environment.

The various types of machines you will work on may include liquid filling machines, shrink wrapping systems, automatic conveying and packaging systems, knowledge of pneumatic systems, and ideally have robotics and automation experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and desirable skills include:

  • Previous work experience in ISO5 and ISO 7 Clean Room (and be comfortable working wearing a respirator hood and PPE)
  • Completion of documentation to GDP/ GMP Standards using computerised maintenance management systems
  • Confidently and assuredly be able to communicate, analyse and collaborate with the wider team to always seek to contribute toward the goal of continuous improvement.
  • Be able to work on multiple projects, planned and reactive adopting SCRUM methodology.
  • Collaborate with others to always seek out how the team can find a better way
  • Be flexible and have a curiosity to learn every day.


Education and experience required for the role:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship and time served (i.e. City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ)
  • HNC in Engineering- (this can be Electrical or Mechanical Engineering bias, but this role is Multi-Skilled)
  • Those without a HNC but are time served and qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.



This role is a full time permanent contract, and subject to the offer, the salary is negotiable- you will receive a generous remuneration package, and have the ability earn more with overtime payments and an annual bonus.

The working pattern for this role is working on a days working pattern, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, and you will not typically work weekends, bank holidays or nights, so if you are seeking a permanent role which allows more work/ life balance, then this is maybe the perfect fit for you.

The client is based 5 minutes from Junction 11 of the M62, so accessible for anyone from Warrington, St Helens, Halton, Liverpool, Northwich and Manchester, as well as the surrounding areas.
