Gi Group are working with Royal Mail to recruit for flexible team members to help deliver the Nations Post, Packages and Parcels. And you can be part of the team!



Competitive Pay, paid weekly in arrears.

The role is working at one of their sites in the Warrington Area, and you will be required to sort items by Postcode and Post Town, this is a bulk processing centre so the items will be sorted by region, post town before onward processing to ensure the customers get their items in a timely manner, delivered with the care and attention people expect from the Royal Mail.

In order to apply, you will need to undergo background checks, where you will be required to provide details on your proof of ID, Eligibility to Work, Proof of Address and criminal record checks, via a DBS which is fully funded.

The shifts are flexible, so for those only wanting to work a few shifts per week, can do so. Those wanting regular fixed shifts are also catered for, as there will be opportunities to work fixed shifts.

Typically, there are three shifts available- 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am, and as the operation is 24/7 you can choose to work 5 out of 7 days. Overtime is available.

- 6am-2pm - > £12.54
- 2pm-10pm - > £13.90
- 10pm-6am - > £15.11


No experience is required, as you will be given an opportunity to be inducted and training is provided prior to starting work.

- Unloading of wheeled containers from incoming vehicles, moving them to the correct dispatch location and then loading them to outgoing transport.

- Scanning and identification of parcel destination by either code number or postcode and placing mail into the correct wheeled container for dispatch.

- Bulk mail is received from customers in a variety of containers. These containers will then be moved to the dispatch lanes and loaded onto trucks.

- The operations take place in a loud, busy factory-style environment where you will be standing for long periods of time, lifting items up to 11KG in weight and pushing wheeled containers weighing up to 200kg.

-A strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
-Good people skills that are helpful and friendly
-Able to work in a fast-paced and target oriented environment
-Flexibility to work overtime when needed
