Warehouse Operative Newport Shift Pattern: Rotational - Week 1: 07:00-15:00 | Week 2: 13:00-21:00 Contract Type: 3 Month potential to extend Full-Time Hourly Rate: £13.45

A leading global manufacturing organisation is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support its busy Newport site. The warehouse covers raw materials, finished goods, environmental zones, and all areas where stock is stored or moved. Key Responsibilities

• Process finished goods from production areas
• Pack finished products onto pallets and store them in correct warehouse locations
• Manage inbound and outbound stock to and from external warehouses
• Maintain a safe, organised workspace in line with 5S standards
• Reduce waste and minimise product damage
• Receive raw materials and general deliveries
• Handle waste processing within the warehouse
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Load customer orders onto delivery vehicles
• Carry out PI (perpetual inventory) counts
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform additional tasks as required by management
• Work flexibly to meet operational needs
• Travel to off‑site locations when required

Required Skills & Experience

• Side‑loading forklift licence - essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar warehouse role
• Confident using computers and warehouse systems
• Experience working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Strong literacy and numeracy
• Team‑focused, adaptable, and reliable
• Positive, proactive attitude
