Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working hours: 39 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and dependable individual to join our Closing Room Team.
Responsibilities:
- Skilled in all aspects of stitching and fitting shoe uppers using a sewing machine.
- Meet quality and production targets, working independently and as part of a team.
- Prioritise tasks to support production needs and adapt to changes (e.g., urgent orders, machine or material issues).
- Communicate production or quality concerns to Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Ensure machinery is well maintained and report any issues promptly.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a shoe production or similar stitching/machinist role is essential.
- Fully competent in the use of industrial sewing machines.
- High attention to detail and consistently high standards of workmanship.

- Strong communication skills and calmness under pressure.
- Willingness to train others.
- Maintains strict confidentiality with company and personal information.
