Class 2 Driver – Nottingham (Temp to Perm)

Gi Group are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well-known hotel linen cleaning service on a temp to perm basis for the right candidate. If you’re confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we’d love to hear from you.

Shift Details: 

·     4 on 2 off shift rotation – availability to work some weekends is required

·     Pay Rate: £18.28 

·    Overtime Rate (after 45 hours): £24.34

·    Shift Time: Between 10 and 12 hours

What we're looking for: 

·      Category C, DIGI and CPC card

·      12 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles

·      Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

Role Accountabilities:

·      Collection and delivery of caged linen

·      7-10 drops per shift

·      Handballing of cages is required

·     Flexibility for morning and afternoon starts

·      Ensure that the Company’s health and safety standards and practices are followed

Technical skills:

·      Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently

·      Be comfortable driving Class 2 vehicles in different sites

·      Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
