Pay: £14 - £17ph DOE

Shift: Days

The Role:

•           Working on a range of CNC Turning machines (online)

•           Setting and operating the machinery

•            Produce small batch work and special made to order components

•           Perform first‑off and in‑process inspections using verniers, micrometers, gauges, and height tools.

•            Working from complex technical drawings

•            Produce small batch work and special made to order components

•            Machine components using a wide variety of different metals and materials

Person Specification:

•           CNC Turning experience is crucial

•           Setting and operating experience is essential: Programming skills are beneficial

•           Ability to work with different controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens

 •           Worked with different manual measuring tools and equipment

•           Ability to work from technical drawings and job sheets

•           Pro-active and well-organised approach in order to maintain workload

The Package:

•           Stable and permanent position

•           £14 -  £17ph depending on experience

•           Day shift

•           Overtime available paid at a premium
