HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunking | Nottingham

Gi Group are looking for reliable Class 1 Drivers to support the distribution network of a renowned pharmaceutical organisation. If you have strong driving skills and can adapt to varied routes and schedules, we encourage you to apply.

Shift Information:

• Working days: Thursday to Monday
• Start times: Between 13:00 and 23:00
• Rates:
•  • Weekdays: £17.25/hour
•  • Week nights: £18.37/hour
•  • Weekends: £23.19/hour
•  • Overtime paid
• Rates include holiday pay (also available as standard PAYE)

Requirements:

• Category C+E licence, plus valid Digi and CPC cards
• At least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (subject to codes)

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular vehicle checks for safety and compliance
• Deliver pharmaceuticals from Beeston to distribution centres across the UK
• Maintain all health and safety regulations

Competencies:

• Ability to take instruction and work to deadlines
• Confident operating Class 1 vehicles in different depot environments
• Willingness to cross-train for tug shunter operation
