2nd Fix Carpenter

Location: Peterborough, PE2

Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join the team. This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £14-£16 depending on experience.

Duties will include:

• Reading and working from floor plans
• Stud walling
• Fitting insulation
• Plaster boarding
• Gyplyner ceilings
• Door hanging
• Fitting architraves and skirting
• Laminate flooring
• Vinyl flooring
• Carpet fitting
• Kitchen fitting
• Window fitting
• Sheet roofing
• Fitting roof lights (Velux)
• Bathroom sheet boarding
• Fitting baths and shower screens
• Fitting exterior decking

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 2nd fix carpentry
• Ability to confidently carry out the tasks listed above
• Ability to read and work from floor plans
• Own basic hand tools
• Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday to Friday
• Good attention to detail and quality of finish
