Vehicle Operatives needed for ongoing work for an automotive company in Purfleet.

Vehicle Operative Shifts:

• Monday-Friday 
• 7am – 4pm 

Vehicle Operative Job Role will include:

• Road testing
• Tyre pressure adjustment
• Long Term Stock Maintenance (LTSM)
• Suppling car cleaning and valeting to the PDI line
• Moving vehicle throughout the Port professionally and safely, adhering to the strict port rules
• Report vehicle defects
• Adhere to all Health & Safety rules and to undertake Health & Safety sampling when required
• Attend tool box meetings and train/instruct other members of staff as and when required
• Move vehicles for other departments upon request

Pay rates:

• Basic - £12.71 per hour

The Candidate:

• MUST hold a valid UK full category van/B1 licence is required
• Experience in vehicle repair, assembly, prepping, or polishing is required
• Understanding how to present vehicles to the high standards set by the OEM
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences please)
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
