Job Title:  Lecturer in Plumbing

GI Group are now seeking an industry experienced Plumbing & Heating professional or qualified tutor to join our Public Sector client in Rotherham.  

In this role, you will move from hands on work to classroom leadership, delivering outstanding teaching, assessment, and internal quality assurance (IQA) up to Level 3 across study programmes, adult courses, and apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment up to Level 3, in Plumbing & Heating, both in workshops and classrooms.

·        Develop and implement engaging learning materials and methods (practical, theoretical, digital).

·        Monitor and report on learner progress, setting and supporting achievement of SMART targets.

·        Collaborate with curriculum teams, Technicians, and support staff to ensure positive student outcomes.

·        Contribute to curriculum development and help establish the area as a Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications & experience:

·        NVQ or Equivalent Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating.

·        Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve).

·        IQA Level 3 Assessors Award

·        Level 2 Literacy & Numeracy.

·        Effective communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.

·        Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
