Details of a Production Operative

Salary - £12.21 per hour

Working Hours are – Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1715

Location – Northampton

Duration – Temp on going

Role of a Production Operative

•Building products on the assembly line

•Help pack at the end of line 

•Following safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

•Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.

•Reporting incidents, product imperfections on the assembly line

•Working with hand tools

•Utilising the forklift when required

•Can involve some heavy lifting

Requirements for a Production Operative

•Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.

•Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

•Good physical stamina as well as stand for hours at a time.

•Forklift license preferred

•Be able to work in different departments depending on the requirements
