Gi Group is excited to be recruiting Potato Factory Operatives to join the hardworking and dedicated team at our client’s busy potato processing site in Scawby (DN20 9DP)

Working hours as a Potato factory operative    

• Day shift: 06:00 – 18:30
• Night shift: 18:30 – 03:30

Pay Rate as a potato factory operative : £12.25 per hour

Key Responsibilities as a potato factory operative

• Working on a production line sorting, grading, and packing potatoes.
• Ensuring quality standards are always met.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
• Following food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
• Assisting with general factory duties as required.

Requirements as a potato factory operative

·      You’ll need to be able to travel to the site in Scawby (DN20 9DP) – having your own transport is ideal due to limited public transport options.

• Previous experience in a production, food, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (protective clothing supplied).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
