Gi Group is recruiting a Team Leader to join our client’s busy food production site in Scunthorpe (DN15). This is an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader who wants to make a direct impact on operations and performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Rate of Pay for Team Leader: £14.35 per hour

Team Leader Working Hours: 3pm – 11pm, Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday)

Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader:

• Lead and motivate operatives as a Team Leader to achieve production targets.

• Organise and oversee workflow on the production line as a Team Leader.

• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are consistently met as a Team Leader.

• Manage product quality and resolve issues promptly as the Team Leader.

• Conduct team briefings and communicate priorities as a Team Leader.

• Develop team members through coaching and training as the Team Leader.

• Address operational challenges and escalate issues as the Team Leader.

• Maintain clear records and support audits as the Team Leader.

Requirements for the Team Leader Role:

• Previous experience as a Team Leader or supervisor in food production or manufacturing.

• Able to travel to Scunthorpe (DN15) – own transport preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills essential for a Team Leader.

• Confident decision maker able to manage operational priorities as a Team Leader.

• Reliable and able to commit to afternoon/evening shifts as a Team Leader, Monday to Friday (early finish Fridays).
