Office Administrator

Our client based in Southampton is actively seeking an Office Administrator to support their expanding construction business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in administration with hands-on experience.

Key Criteria:

  • Full driving licence required (use of company van for tasks)
  • Some experience in administration, telephone handling, and multitasking preferred

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm

Salary & Benefits:

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • 12-week temp-to-perm contract
  • 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Full training provided
  • Genuine opportunity for progression
  • Free on-site parking
  • Complimentary tea and coffee

Main Duties:

  • General office administration: document filing, data input, and managing correspondence
  • Answering incoming calls and directing queries appropriately
  • Assisting with daily office logistics, including use of the company van for errands
  • Supporting the coordination of deliveries and collections for construction sites
  • Photocopying, scanning, and handling confidential paperwork
  • Assisting with team and supplier communications
  • Keeping the office environment tidy and organised
  • Maintaining compliance with all health & safety and company procedures

Additional Information:

  • Immediate start available
  • Must be able to commute daily to Southampton
