Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder looking for a long‑term role in a modern manufacturing environment?
This is a great opportunity to join a stable engineering team working on high‑quality steel and stainless‑steel components used in specialist electrical and metal fabrication projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be working within a busy fabrication workshop producing a variety of precision sheet‑metal components. Your duties will include:
· Fabricating steel & stainless‑steel components
· MIG welding (TIG desirable)
· Building enclosures, frames, doors, brackets & internal metalwork
· Operating key workshop machinery: Press brake, Guillotine, Pillar drills, Grinders & finishing tools
· Reading engineering drawings & working to specification
· Assembling components using mechanical fitting methods
· Performing quality checks on welds & dimensions
· Supporting smooth workflow with CNC, welding & paint teams
What We're Looking For:
· Strong experience as a Fabricator Welder in sheet‑metal or light/medium fabrication
· Confident MIG welding skills (TIG beneficial)
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Competent with fabrication tools & machinery
· Good understanding of tolerances, measurements & quality standards
· High attention to detail & pride in your work
Hours & Pay:
Hours: Mon-Wed: 4:00pm - 2:30am and Thurs: 4:00pm - 12:00am
Pay: £21.44 per hour (shift‑inclusive)
Overtime: Paid at a premium in the week and weekends
(Training on Day Shift is required - Mon-Thurs: 7:30am - 4:30pm and Fri: 7:30am - 12:30pm paid at £16.12ph)
