Our client is looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Contracts Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of external engineering contractors. You'll be central to ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strong supplier performance across a diverse vendor base.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the engineering contract portfolio, ensuring all agreements, SLAs, terms, and renewal cycles are accurately recorded and standardised.
- Identify opportunities for renegotiation and supplier consolidation, working closely with procurement to achieve annual cost savings.
- Monitor vendor KPIs such as response times, first‑time fix rates, compliance, and cost impact.
- Ensure all contracts and service delivery meet regulatory, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Produce clear dashboards and monthly reports on spend, savings, and supplier performance.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes for all contractor personnel, ensuring training and site access requirements are met.
- Track and maintain EHS and GMP documentation for all third‑party personnel, escalating any compliance gaps.
- Coordinate and schedule contractor activity with internal teams, ensuring appropriate work permits are in place.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Provide post‑visit feedback and escalate follow‑up actions where required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong administrative background, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, facilities, or another regulated environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to compliance, documentation, and process improvement.
