Job Advert: General Operative – Potato Factory (Telford, TF6)

Location: TF6 (Outside of Telford – Own transport recommended)

Pay: £12.75 per hour

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Operatives to join our potato harvesting team, located just outside Telford.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect potatoes for quality, removing spuds with mould, damage, or defects

Ensure only the best produce continues through the grading process

Maintain high hygiene and safety standards at all times

Role Details:

Shift start times: 7:00am or 7:45am

Shift lengths vary between 4–12 hours, depending on demand

The role involves standing for extended periods—good stamina required

Ad hoc shifts available as required; part time and full time hours on offer

Due to location, own transport is preferred

Candidate Requirements:

High attention to detail

Reliability and punctuality

Ability to stand for long periods

Flexibility with shifts and hours
