Production Operative

Gi Group are looking for motivated Production & Warehouse Operatives to work on a temporary- permanent basis with our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical devices, based in DN14 (Whitley Bridge).

Due to the location, having your own transport is ideal

Key responsibilities:
* Working to meet production targets and deadlines
* Adhering to company policies at all times
* Operating necessary machinery and equipment in a safe manner
* Conducting testing of products to meet output targets
* Maintaining accurate logs of production
* Following all safety procedures related to machinery and the work environment

About you:
* Good manual dexterity
* A keen eye for detail is necessary
* Experience with hands-on electrical/mechanical work is preferred
* A good standard of written and spoken English is required

Hours and pay:
* £12.92
* Overtime- 0.5x
* Monday- Thursday: 08:30-17:15
* Friday: 08:30-13:00
* Free parking
* On-site canteen with subsidised prices
* Start dates ASAP
