This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as we are appointing FLT Counterbalance Drivers, to collaborate with our on-site client supplying reusable packaging containers to major UK supermarkets.

FLT Counterbalance Driver responsibilities: 

• Daily maintenance of the forklifts and batteries
• Complete start up sheets for each forklift at the start of each shift
• Relevant records updated for the movement of crates/trays, pallets
• Record of all weights collated in an accurate and timely manner
• Work with the team to ensure that workplace cleanliness is adhered to
• Adhere to company health and safety standards

FLT Counterbalance Driver required skills:

• Previous experience as a Forklift / FLT counterbalance driver
• A Current Counterbalance Licence (Accredited NOT In House)
• Will be flexible to do overtime, also work at short notice
• Motivated and looking for long term work (as our client are looking to offer permanent contracts)

FLT Counterbalance Driver Pay:

• £12.77ph days OT £14.27

FLT Counterbalance Driver Shift:

•  3 on 3 off shift pattern, days 6am to 6pm
