Join Gi Group and work with one of the UK's leading parcel delivery companies. This position is a temporary contract, offering ongoing work 12 months per year for the right candidate.

Class 1 Driver - Rates of Pay:
* Monday to Friday days £19.61 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay (PAYE only)
* Monday to Friday nights £21.29 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay (PAYE only)

Class 1 Driver - Shifts and Hours:
* Monday to Friday - no weekends!
* Start times: 02:00-04:00 starts,
* 8-10 hours per day

Location: Coventry (CV8)
This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham, Daventry, Crick and the other surrounding areas.

Class 1 Driver - The Role:
* Load / unload freight and secure load
* Complete scheduled deliveries and collections (varied parcel weights
* Ensure accurate completion of documentation
* Perform vehicle checks and report defect
* Work efficiently to meet deadlines

Class 1 Driver - the perfect candidate will have:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license + Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
* Minimum 6 months Class 1 license + 6 months Class 1 driving experience
* Max 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)
* Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes
* Will be flexible and remain calm under pressure
* Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail
* 2 years of work / education history
